Nurses Creed

Lord, let me begin today with your blessing To provide care for those who need me. Give me the patience to listen, Intuition to see beyond the visible, Knowledge to practice the art of nursing, And the attitude to deliver care with humility. Help me to see every patient clearly Unbiased, and with individual respect. Help me to face fear and anxiety With kind words and a gentle touch. Help me to see the joy and wonder each new day brings And let your healing light shine through my hands. This I pray in Jesus name. Amen!

VEP how to's

Saipan is not requiring visa to be able to enter their country instead one must apply for VEP. If you are planning to take NCLEX there, it's my pleasure to share how we accomplished it.
Go to website: http://www.cnmiago.gov.mp/

To download VEP form:
1. Click Immigration Services found on the left side.
2. Under it, click Non-US Citizen Entry: Business/Pleasure.
3. Under it, click Visitor Entry Permit.
4 Download Visitor Entry Permit Application Form. (1 page short bond paper) Note: It says on the application form that you can send it by fax or mail but I called the number given on the form and I was advised to have documents scanned and send it thru email.

Documents to scan:
1. Filled up VEP form.
2. 1st & 2nd page of passport. (No need for a certified copy, we accomplished that fromDFA but it was a waste of effort, scanning the passport will do.)
3. NBI (That's the background check from home's local or national police authority)
4. ATT (1st page only)
5. Booking certificate from the agency. (That is why you must be booked first so agencycan give a certificate, not necessarily the ticket.)

*** Ignore Sponsor's Affidavit of Sponsorship (Not for NCLEX takers) To fill out the VEP form, this is how we did it:> Supply all personal data.> No. 10 leave it blank as we do not have National ID No.> No. 17 write NCLEX-RN EXAM> No. 19 & 20 leave them blank. Send it to VEPInfo@cnmi-gov.net one month before the date of the exam. Make a short letter stating the date of your exam. If you do not receive any response after one week follow it up thru email too. When you follow up, write the exam date as the subject to make them aware of the date.
Goodluck!
